 VENUE IDEAS

Some varied venues you might consider - recommended in no particular order, we've had memorably good times playing  at all of them.

Hafod Farm near Betws y Coed, has holiday cottage accomodation, campsite and a breathtaking five hundred year old barn.

Ruthin Castle has ceilidhs both upstairs and downstairs!

Caban in Brynrefail, has for the last few years hosted an outstanding New Years Day folk music session.

Cae Mabon is poet, songwriter and storyteller Eric Madden's unique buildings and venue.

The Hercules Hall at Portmeirion...must have been a terrific labour, that ceiling...ALWAYS great dances here.

Tyn y Coed Hotel, Capel Curig - historic inn on the old coaching road and still has a stage coach.

 WEDDING IDEAS

While there have been occasions in the past making us wary of wholeheartedly reccomending Ceilidh/Disco sharing at weddings, a recent celebration we played at showed just how well it can work with collaboration with a sympathetic DJ. This was the excellent Gav's Disco - the evening went like clockwork and a splendid time was had by all.

We get to sample numerous providers of Hog Roasts, many excellent - Y Dyn Cig is our friend and does something very clever with the crackling!

Wedding present? For fine prints and original paintings of Snowdonia's mountains - and indeed  mountains worldwide - by north wales' premier mountain artist - Mountain Art - Anthony "Ginger" Cain

For flowers - Lieneke's Flowers
